Leadership topic - Cleaning Up

Reaching the end of this year, what do you need to pay attention to make next Year, not just New, but Great?

In the world of Dead Heads, there is something called “the days between”… Jerry’s birthday and the day he left us.  I have used this “week between” Christmas and New Year’s for many years to Clean Up. Really dig deep into what is working well, and how to create more room for that by getting rid of things that may be getting in the way.

As I looked back over my last year, there was a band like Journey that I left in limbo, so took this as a soundtrack for my own process of Cleaning Up. I intended to get “through” all of U2’s remaining albums, but that was a fool’s errand. What I found though was helpful to both my work and my spirit, renewing me as I worked back through these familiar tracks.

I hope that they have/will encourage to really think about the foundation you have built for the coming New Year, and Clean Up what you need to really find the joy that will be there – if you look for it.
